Okay... my problem is also power door lock related. My driver side door will open most of the time. But sometimes it takes a second push of the button to get it to open all the way (allowing it to actually allow the door to be opened (the same could be said for the locking end of things).

Now -- does anyone have the programming codes so that I can program my viper 500hf to double pulse (I believe that is the terminology) and essentially hit the button twice for me???

Sounds like the motor for your door lock is going bad. I'd check into replacing that before messing with the alarm.
