cool good thing they were using their head and put a roll bar to stiffen the chassis and such. If that thing rolls at least it won't take your head off :P

Yeah, that is Dre's car (Andre, 400+ HP pump gas monster!). He won't go halfass on anything, so I can't wait to see it completed. I have enjoyed his beast getting stronger each time I see info on it. I think that the roll cage was pre-existing, due to the power and ET that that car makes.

It is 4G63 powered, located in NJ, and an amazing machine that runs 11s on pump gas.

Hell yeah Bill. I have been watching Andre's car for about a year and a half now. Plus he is the one who inspired me to put the white Rated R's on my ride :) He use to have some. He got the coolest vids on his site. His car is up there on my list as one of the most kick ass 4g63's out there.

very sweet. i've looked into doing something like this, but the cost is high. for some people, if you do not wish to have a roll cage, you can strengthen a few areas on the car such. the convertables were done this way and so were the del sols and supras and such

Man, I haven't seen that guys site for like 3 years. Yeah, he's very specific about keeping track of things....nice car too!

The Spyder reinforcements will not go into the coupe easily, unfortunately. Dre is looking into a few other options on how to stiffen his chassis, but there is crazy flex now. Going into his driveway, his "door ajar" light comes on. Yeah, crazy diagonal flex. I couldn't think of many things that he hadn't. Anyone have any ideas on how to stiffen a unibody without the unibody?

go to toyota and ask questions about targa top equipped supras, or if they can put a targa on a non targa supra. And if that answer is yes, ask the requirements. A supra is close in shape to a 2G. He might could use parts from a supra. If not, he may have to have bars going from side to side on the floor and roof. maybe even thru the sides.
