ok... my indiglos arrived, and the dimmer into which they plug has a positive and a negative power cable... which goes where!? i know where the parking light wire is, so please dont post those pic links, but which wire do i connect to this from the dimmer, and what do i do with the other? thanx!

mine only had two wires for the whole thing. one to the parking lights and one to any good ground

positive (red) to the parking light wire then? or negative (black) ?? seems to me red to wire and black to ground

Well If you only have two wire and one is black and one is red It would be pretty safe to say that the black will be ground and the red will be positive. The red is what you tap into the parking light wire

red is always hot

black is always ground

unless whoever buillt that think was drunk at the time.
