just fill the old hole, run the wiring up the a-pillar, drill a hole big enough to fit the new one on there, and connect the wiring. you probably want to take off ther headliner to do this, for sake of running the antenna cable up there. are you thinking of one of those really small, angled antennas? i put one on my bro's car just like your talking about. right in the middle of the roof, just behind the windshield...shouldn't be too hard, the cable is long enough for sure. good luck

do you have a stock motorized one? mine kept breaking to, i recently ran it through a car wash and broke it agian. just put something after market in there. Billet makes some nice colored onces that stand about 1 ft high.

I'm wondering about doing the rear window idea....just don't know if I have to shave the rear wiper/squirter... if I have to shave them...then I will try and do the antennae that is "built" into the window idea.

later

My 2001 Honda Civic's antenna is in the front wiper.. woo hoo :-)..
Anyways, you can get cheap rubber ones on eBay that says that you can go through car washes without any problems. And putting it in the middle with a "rat-tail" antenna is VW style ;-) ..
