Ok I just trimmed the crap out of the headlight section of this bumper and now I find out it's not only the headlights that were making it not fit. My starion intercooler is hitting the mouth of this thing and it's pressing really hard on it. I trimmed some grooves for ic to fit and it fit a little better but one side is hitting the pipes sorta. Just wonder if any of you with the sinsei bumper and have FMICs have had this problem with the intercooler not making it fit. Imagine is I had one of those monster intercooler....

you can't really tell but that thing is on TIGHT I was afraid it might crack. Its on with zip ties right now but there's a big ass gap on the driver's side. Man you'd think that a bumper that was a copy of the EVO (actually it looks like a copy of the impreza bumper or early evo bumper) bumper that it would have enough room for the intercooler to fit :(

Ask drbalazo. He has the EVO with a huge FMIC right now...

wouldn't sanding it be safer than cutting? Like sanding the back with one of those tools, can't remember the name. A handle that sand paper attatches to. Dammit. Forgot the name of it. Anyhow, u know. I would just take that to the back of it, and use some touch up or something to prevent peeling.

This is interesting.. I need to know about this cuz I'm getting a EVO/Sinsei kit :-) ..

I got it from flossinpinoy racer for 80 bux it had a crack on it though so I had to fix it.

Looks like I will have to trim the mouth. Now I gotta take the grille off :( I trimmed some parts. Actually one side fits perfectly and the other is touching the intercooler pipes so I might be able to get away with trimming certain places. The really wierd thing is that the mouth is crooked don't know how it got like that but it just is :( I used a dremel tool to trim it also :)

I thought you painted it or something. The pics are deceiving. :P Now I see tho.
