I've got a wing I need to mount, I got it used but I can't quite figure how to bolt it to the car. It has the holes drilled, but what do the bolts hold on to? And the damn chiltons doesn't tell ya squat about the spoilers either. Anyone know what I'm not getting about it?

is it a 3 piece? did you get the holes filled from the stock spoiler removal? I think some bolt into the hatch...well I know the aerospeed we put on this eclipse ... we just drilled straight through the hatch and stuck the bolts through the metal and put the nuts on 'em...that's it. The 3 piece....... I think you have to take the inner side panels off... Not sure what you're talking about exactly... maybe you already knew all of this stuff. I could be wrong.

Getting the 3pc. off isn't a problem, what I'm trying to figure out is how to secure the new 1pc wing on. It has holes drilled already, but what I need to know is how to secure the wing to the hatch. Do I need special screws, or something to put in the holes in the wing that the bolts will hold into? It's a Kaminari GTR wing if that helps give an idea.

How incredibly tacky does it look if you dont fill in the holes when taking off the 3 piece spoiler? and how much does it cost to get the new spoiler painted?

Holes don't look good IMO.... reeeaalllly bad. I'd rather leave the side pieces on if you had to, to at least cover up those holes.... depends on the wing...

painting... my guys said he'd paint my bumper and wing whenever I get one.....for like $200 or so... not for sure though...he hooks me up, so it might be cheaper.

I found a local place that'll do mine for $110, I just gotta wonder how close it will match. Or the person who sold it to me knows a chevy dealership who can do it for me for $125.

My wing will cover the side holes, but I'm gonna either vinyl them over or fill 'em with bondo and touchup paint over it. But it doesn't really matter since they won't be seen with the hatch down anyway.

wow sweet post pix when you get it on there. I'm looking for a GTR wing too, I'm seein if ne1 sells an EVO style wing first though. But I love the GTR wing on our cars. Just as long as its not those GTR wings that stick out hella on the sides.

Its not Hades. Its red right now, but I'll post some pics from the test fit I was gonna do today.
