Well, alot of people said that it couldn't be done. Again, alot of people were wrong. Check out the September issue of Turbo & High-Tech Performance. There is a 95 eclipse GS with a custom Targa-Top and a stage II Star Turbo Kit. It is purple and is pretty PHAT! Check it out!

Yeah I am. I will be starting to work on it as soon as I get my beater car running and get a shop so probably in a month or two. I have been wanting to do this long before that article even came out.

i've been wanting to also, every since i had the car, it gives it kinda a supra look, there's no much freakin work involved though, it's craZy,would a roll cage do ?

A full roll cage might but a back half will not. The floor of the car is going to want to twist as soon as you take the top section out. I don't want to say to much of my plans as I don't want alot of people the same looking car.

Wonder if anyone remembers that I posted I wanted a Targa Top Eclipse near the begining of this year but everyone said even w/ a roll cage it wouldn't work. (Check archives and I posted about it on this section) I had a local shop ready to do it for 1000 since my other friend was gonna do it to but I didn't think the frame would be strong enough. Wonder how that guy did his. DAMN I WISH I DID MINE.

Yeah I remember that post. That is the post that made me want to do it even more because everybody said it could not be done. Now just picture a targra top with lambo doors that would be fun :)

I could have it done tomorrow if I had enough money. There's a shop here that has done it for VW bugs and stuff b4. He'd make my car heavier tho, all the support stuff he'd add. He would take everything apart, and weld in braces to keep the flex down.

Having a power sunroof put in would be 950+. I think I could have this done for about 1500-2000. I have also wanted it ever since I started modding my car. Looks badass. I thought about going to the toyota dealer and seeing what their body shop said about it.

They would tell ya to trade it in on a new Toyota!!! Crooked bastards...
