Hey, I know everyone hates the ugly stock yellowish/amber color of your highbeams/lowbeams/fogs..so i'm sure some of you chnaged your bulbs to hyperwhite..i'm just wondering..where do you guys get them from? Is there a certain brand that is better than the rest (Besides the expensive HID)..just I've seen sets of 9006+9005 Blue Hyper White bulbs (street legal) on ebay for like $20 for both sets..and I'm just wondering do these melt the lenses or anything? Can I just get the bulbs and put it in and nothing will happen. Thanks a lot..err thanks in advance :)

yes the 9005 is your high beam the 9006 is your low beam, most of the ones on ebay are legit. I personally would stick with the lower wattage ones maybee 65 i had the 100w ones and they looked cool as hell, but they totally melted the headlight housing and that was a pain in the ass to fix.

I got 80w, no problems so far and I had them on for 5 months so far, I wouldn't get 100w

oh ok cool..i just got 65w ones that i bought online on ebay..they should be fine now..thanks guys..very much appreciated cause i almost bought 100w bulbs and if they would have messed up my housing..i wouldda been pissed :) but thanks guys!

I have the 80w for my low beams and 100w for my high's...Shit, now I hope that the high beams dont melt it!.....maybe i'll take them out...what do ya think I should do?

replace them with lower W ?you don't wanna mess with some melt plastic later(touch wood)

Well, I bought some 65w and 55w hiper whites on ebay..and I was just wondering..will these be white and decent? I mean I don't want something that blinds people I just want a brighter bulb then the regular stock yellowish/white ones..Also is this too hot to melt my car? Someone said the stock bulbs wattage was like 55 or something..Thanks
