One shop quoted me 50 bucks, but most shops will charge around $100. It's around two hours of labor if they somewhat know what they are doing. More lik 6-8 hours if you do it yourself without power tools.

whoa... they're probably trying to con you. that's way too much. i paid 100 to put my prokits on do shop around or try to find someone on this board to do it for you if they live nearby.

ok do not have a shop install your springs... unless you really want to waste money. Take out your old struts with springs on them, take them to a shop with new springs, and have the shop compress the new springs on them. then go home and remount them... it is a very simple process and i'll post on how to detach and remount if you want... compressing springs costs about 20 bucks at a local shop.

about 100$ is what I usualy would say unless the car is old and is a pain to work on. What did that price include if it was just putting on the springs thats nuts however if it included purchase of springs, chamber kits, and alignment then thats not a bad deal. I am sure you can find some people in your area that will help you put them on for pizza and beer :)

I got my sportlines done for 55. My prokits installed for free. I did them myself. WOW!

Yah a friend of mine helped me do mine, and yes we definatly needed a spring compressor. But it took us about 2 hours with power tools. The front is what took the longest and the rear is a snap. If you do decide to do it yourself or not... buy the $15 dollar rear camber mod regardless. I have the list of what size bolts, washer and lockwasher you will need so lemme know if your gonna need that and ill post it.
