wtf? my turn signals have personalities... every once and a while one of them just start blinking twice as fast for a day or two, then go back to normal... what is going on? I assume resetting my cpu will fix it temporarily, but what is the cause of this problem?

Usually if you have a bulb that is out, it will blink super fast to warn you. It might be a dual filament bulb that is supposed to shine normal and then bright when you signal, and one of the filaments may be dead. Or it could be a bulb wiring problem.

leave your cpu alone......It's a bulb. Alot of people get freaked out when this first happens....for some reason the bulb doesn't just go out all at once....it comes and goes. It is most likely one of your inside tail light bulbs....1157 it think. It's a double filament bulb. Just turn your turn signals on one at a time and compare. Look closely, because there are two bulbs that flash in the rear.
Cost me about 89 cents to fix.

you see i had thought of that, but i had JUST replaced a burnt out bulb so i thought it was a wiring problem... what do you know!! the OTHER side goes out (front blinkers) just after i replace the right side... lol thanx guys

it is a loose ground in one of your tail light bulb sockets most likely. mine was the passenger side middle bulb socket. good luck and let us know what happens. oh yeah to fix it just take the bulb out, and pull the metal inside socket out of the surrounding grey plastic socket. there you can see whats up with the ground (black wire) connection.
