27397, RE: led's in the vents Posted by Stealth915, Jul-25-02 06:06 PM for my center vents, i was thinking of drilling a small hole at the bottom to run the wires to the harness for my HVAC lights, then just using my hot glue gun to keep the LED in place. I figure it'll be bright enough to light up the entire vent. | |

My friend did this in his 1G and it looks like ass!! All you can see is the blue led shining right in your face, not a cool blue backing to the vents. | |

27401, RE: led's in the vents Posted by Twobuf4u, Jul-27-02 02:20 AM Really simple thing to do. Just drill a small hole in the bottom of the vent and tape/glue the led in it. Took a total of about 15 mins. Also you don't have to connect them to the HVAC Harness thing. Any power wire will do. That one is probably the easiest to connect to though. I also have an Led pointing at my feet and one pointing at the passenger's feet. Looks good....IMO!! | |
