Ok i go out to my car last night to show it off to friends (96 GS-T), and my sunroof is jammed. Yeah, jammed.. you can hear the motor try to open, and the inside triangles move half an inch, then it just stops. Same with the other direction, and it doesnt close all of the way. The manual crank jams at those exact same places. Any ideas on how to fix? I dont wanna go to the Satan Dealership :(

i made the mistake of opening mine up on the highway at about 75 or 80 mph and the wind preasure foked it up, it was crooked and would'nt move more then an inch so i said f-it and forced it back in place cause it didnt wanna listen to the damb wind all the way home. but it works fine now, the only complaint i have now is it rattles on gravel roads.

is it stopping 4-5 inches from closing?? i had this problem
*Ccheck the track on both sides. therre is a point where the track becomes 2 peices. i wish i had a picture. on mine a small chuck of the track broke downward and got in the way. i just broke it off clean and now it works ok. check the tracks really good. theres something in the way somewhere.

Well, I fixed mine. I removed all of the componants, cleaned them with brake cleaner, and put in new spray white lithium grease. It took me 5 hours to get the headliner out, all of the componants, re-time the sunroof ECU/motor, remove and reagrease the cables, runners, and tracks. I also fixed the rus spot I had in the metal frame. A good night of work, though. Make sure you have a phillip's head screwdriver and a torx set of screwdrivers. -=B-=

what do you use to remove the star bolts?
i'm thinkin about takin it apart and seeing what i can do
in response to the 4-5 inches thing.... it's stuck about a half inch above SEAL, no gap in the front... lifting it is the problem i guess
