27130, High temp or powdercoat? Posted by NySpeed, Jul-21-02 07:08 AM
Hey guys, I still have half a can of high temp paint from when i painted my calipers. I was wondering, could i just spray it into a cup and use a paintbrush to paint the lettering on my engine to look like this guy? Or is it something that should only be powdercoated? http://www.dsmtuners.com/cgi-bin/gallery/index.pl?photo=2229

You could try the high temp paint, but don't use a brush no matter what. People that I know that have done it have just taped around the letters very carefully, and then used thin layers of high temp spray paint.
