26879, what to cover when cleaning the engine? Posted by soulcontroller, Jul-18-02 02:53 AM
my bay is a little dirty, so if grab a hose and blast away in there, what should i cover up?
obviously ill cover the battery, ive got tons of connections into it... filter is probably a good idea as well, and put some rags over the plugs to absorb some h2o.
is there anything else i should watch out for? or just blast away.
regards.

You really dont need to cover anything, but what you already said is just fine, ive hit mine with a powerwasher numerous times with no problems.

I just blast away...I typically try to stay away from the battery and fuse box. I still spray them a little, but just enough to take the dirt off.
