sometime this summer i am going to redo my interior. somebody on here said i could get a fiberglassed look by using 3 coats of urethane, then automotive paint, then automotive clear. will urethane stick to vinyl like on the dash and door panels. any help is appreciated.

I would say yes somebody on this board did to his car he did a write up like 2 months ago it's in here somewhere.

will it crack on the parts that flex, like the armrest and such?

I would say no but then again depends on how many coats of clear you put on it.

1. Will the paint stick to the urethane without a hardener, like on bumpers?

2. Will the urethane harden up the flexible parts enough to stop it from flexing, like the armrest?

3. Does anybody see a problem of doing it like this?
