26570, Euro clear side markers Posted by KrazieEklipse, Jul-14-02 01:09 PM
I have had the clear side markers for awhile now and want to do soemthing different. Just wanted some feed back from people who have them about how they look on the car. Also how would i get some vinyl stickers like shuwa29 does with just the lil diamond star cut out to go over them?
TIA, Walker

well there are two different side marker lights. there are the ones that are clear like the clear taillights or the ones that have an actual clear lense with a chrome backing.to get the vinyl sticker, just go to a vinyl shop with a lense and tell them what you want

I know it seems f*cked up......but I like it for now. I just tried to tint my euro clears.....real clears/chrome backing......with the tint spray....and it didn't work. Crap looked all swirly. I've used spray paints several times, and I know it wasn't me. looked good until you turned the lights on. I guess that paint wasn't designed to go overtrue clear lenses...so I tried to take it off, and ended up making it worse. Since I didn't want to put the stockers back on, and my new ones were screwed, I tried a little experiment with some high heat paint.....

hmmmmm......opinions anyone?

No, it is about the easiest thing to install on our cars. Just reach underneath the front bumper where they are located and just push them out. They will pop out with a little force and just take the bulb out and put it in the clear sidemarker and pop it back into the bumper. Done.

thanks guys........just painted the black plastic pieces around my foglights to match......and I'm starting to really like the look. I'm in Illinois and so far have had no problems with the po-po.friggen led washers and valve stems are everywhere, hopefully they wont bother to mess with me just cause I'm original :)
