I usually HATE chrome except on luxury cars with deep dish rims. BUT I really like those rims (like the tantrums) now. I used to not like em in chrome, but now I think I really think they look good. Those 18s look huge on your car too.

Ive got silver motegi mr7's but they are 17's with 215/45/zr17 kumho ecsta supra 712's on my white 98 gs. i was ondering for a while if i could get away with some 18x7.5's with my 2 inch sprints. i need to post a pic for yall... how do you? very nice and clean cause it reminds me soo much of mine. what all do you have inside? post more pics! btw what springs are on there and what is your tire size?

I got the 1100X's for $210, but that was almost 2 years ago. I've seen them cheaper since then. I got them from an off-road business in Rochester here. They're not too hard to find, plus I saw that Walmart has a knock-off brand that looks almost exactly like the 1100x's for I think around $40. That kinda pissed me off when I saw that.

Those wheels are sweet and the car looks bad azz but did you get a nice size power loss after you got them on? I was looking and they weigh 27.5 pounds, I thought mine were heavy at 19 pounds. For every 1 pound of unsprung weight you add to your wheels or tires is equal to 50 lbs extra weight in the car. from 19 lb wheels to 27.5 that would be like adding 1700 lbs to your ride as far as performance goes. It dont affect it like actual weight in the car, just performance wise.

Real nice mang....but I think sumthing simple you can do (since it looks like you like chrome) is get those clear chrome eurobumper lenses...and maybe a chrome mitsubishi logo like FasterGS in the front.....oh yea then a big chrome brush gaurd like the F150s ;)

I like chrome on white, but I don't want to over do it. I just wanted to break up the white a little bit by adding things here & there, taillights, rims, headlights & driving lights. I thought about putting a chrome badge on the front bumper, but I figured that it would be like having chrome valve stem caps. Someone would want it more than I & it would be gone in about 2 weeks. Not because they necessarily wanted the badge for their car, because every new eclipse has 'em, but because they kyped it off of a custom Eclipse. Plus I kinda like the embossed look of where the badge should go on the bumper. Nobody can steal that.

Thanks guys for appreciating what I've done with my ride. To get comments from people is great, but when you get comments from enthusiasts who can detect whats been done, and they appreciate it, it's awesome.

I haven't noticed really any difference, but I really haven't tried anything from a dead stop yet either. When I'm rolling it seemed to accelerate the same, but that's probably due to momentum.
