I screwed up my door panels trying to paint them... That's a long, painful story so I'll just move on to the part that I need help on.
I need new door panels. I remember seeing some door panels that had places for gages and component speakers but those were pretty expensive and I dont' know where to get them from. I searched the forms and didn't find them. Anybody know where I can get those? Anybody have some extra door panels? I already checked my junkyards and out of the 2 eclises from 4 different yards, none even had doors. I'm pissed off about this too cause I was saving up for other stuff! I hate when I break expensive stuff that was perfectly fine before!!!!

why do u need new door panels?

I almost thought i messed mine up too...but u gotta spray FAR away and lightly...not up close....sand everything down and try again man.

Save ur money where it counts....you use MORE paint this way, but it ensures it goes on light and even. Spray like 1 foot away MINUMUM dood.

I should have went more into what happened... I was using some really strong paint remover that is meant to be used on metal. I tested an area and it didn't mess it up so I used more. Then I was power sanding it after using the paint remover stuff and it completly disshaped the plastic panels...

I would like the differnet door panels so I could put in some component speakers too, and the boast gauge and all too, when the time is right.

I've also got a bid on some talon door panels but they look different from mine(like the airvents appear to be routed different). Is there a difference??

wtf? you were using a power sander on your doors? what grit sandpaper were you using?

those nice fiberglass door panels are about $500-600.

You could always square off all the corners on the panels....go for a new look :) Play around with em and see what you can do...Definately call a junkyard though.

or fiberglass over yours...? that might work but i would check junkyard, and go in the sale/wanted section and make a post that you want some
