I was at the mall yesterday i come out and someone fit my bumper in the passenger side and broke the bumper from the fender and put a hole in it, and there is alot of small cracks in it(the funny thing is that it didn't brake my marker light but the light socket is). The cops didn't want to take a report and they said oh well shit happens. I should be able to fix it but i'm to busy to get to it for a couple of weeks. I forgot how crappy my stock bumper looks. Any suggestions are apperciated

Smack the mofo pig who didn't feel like writing up a report :) Sorry bad experiences with cops. Check with your insurance company to see if they cover.....fix your bumper and then use the money for other mods :D

i can't go through my insurance company i already had to make a claim on my lancer in the past couple months(got rear ended and the car still is in the shop, i'm having the same probs as myke), btw i already have it off and started to patch the mofo together

I guess thats all you can do then.....One of them suck-it-up-and-move-on ordeals....I hate em but i have em all the time ;) Kinda like when my last car got broken into....took a while for me to want to do anything to my Talon....thanks alot 2gnt :thumbsup

Hit and run claims and vandalism claims won't raise your premiums at all if it is under 1000 dollars that they actually pay you (you'll have to pay the deductible). Find out how much it will cost, because it will most likely be over 1000.

my friend that works at a body shop said it wasn't bad (no structuall damage to the car just the bumper is f'd up) i got it most of it patched together i should have it finished on wendsday if i work on it all day tomarrow and sand it down on tuesday. I would love to spray it on sunday and have it back on my car by next week. Why i was at it i cut the three diamonds out on it and i'm going to put a small neon behind the diamonds (yes this is rice but i haven't seen it done yet) and i did some modifications to it. I'll try to post pics when i'm done. It looks like turbo fund is depleting again:(

U can go to your local police dept and request a "blue form" (its a mail-in accident report, with ur details that you know of..) then u mail it off and at leasts its on file for future occurances. I filled one out for me recently since I didnt call the poh poh when that dood hit me.

its finally fixed but i have no extra money for primmer and paint should have pics soon
