Hey all, I installed the new CF hood (which I got a killer deal on!) a few days ago and I took some pics. My digital camera SUCKS at taking pictures of carbon fiber for some reason so they kinda suck because I had to use night shot mode to keep the colors from banding, but unfortunately night shot makes things blurry as hell. I will get some better pics soon.

Looks great! I'm actually starting to change my mind about CF hoods on dark cars...I use to think that they only looked good on white, red, and silver....but I really like it on your ride. Keep up the good work :thumbsup

Thanks! It actually also matches the black top of the Talon very well, it came out better than I thought it would :) If only my camera could do it justice hehe.

did you have to do any adjustments to your hinges? I need to just mine but havent got around to it yet..do you need to slam the CF hood to get it to close?

I had to drill the holes out wider in the brackets so I could adjust the hood a little bit, and I need to adjust it a little more this weekend.

Jason, yes ur car looked better without it. I'd get a painted fiberglass 6 vented hood if I were u.

Now, as for savage...dood is ur bumper off color from ur car? It looke darker! :o

It is a little bit darker from some angles but in person you really cant tell. I think this is a byproduct of my shitty camera :)

I think I am just partial right now to the stock look with CF hood, wheels and lowered though. I love that look and after my car gets painted this winter Im going back to stock look with a CF hood.

I also think Jason's car looked better with the Cf hood :)

I triple that his car looked better with a carbon fiber hood :)

Thanks for the kind words fellas!! Well I just got tired of the problems I was having with the hood gaps. It let rain and crap in, and you all know what water and a UDP sounds like.. SCREECH!! Yes, boost will be here one of these days. Not as soon as I thought, but soon enough ;)

hehe I just have to chime in. I like your car a LOT better without the cf hood too. Looks much cleaner imo.

i liked it with the cf hood, but if i had those same problems, id take it off also.

I definitely like his car more without the CF hood, but I'm a little biased muahahaha. :)

I am also changing my mind about cf hoods on black cars. I think it would look nice. As far as the hood pins, I'd say it depends on how much highway driving you do. I don't think I would have had a problem with mine but the pins just made me feel better about it.

yea, you dont want to be driving down the highway and boom! your cf hood slams up into your windshield, busts it out all over the place, then goes flying off onto the road and wrecking a few other cars!

well i think tyour car looks phat either way. and i really like cf hoods on white cars but they look pretty good on black to. jes look at my sig. car was really dirty and shitty camera but it gices you an idea
