I have the Blitz neo kit. I was told it is for 97-99s only when I put the 97-99 headlamps up to it they dont fit. I have a 96 and I took my headlights off and they dont look like they fit. Can someone w/ this kit tell me if they make a bumper for both 95-96 and 97-99. I need any info you guys can give me. I just got the 97-99 headlights and I dont want to have to send them back.

You wont know until you put the headlights on..and then fit the bumper..

Blitz front is only made for 97-99 as far as I know. Never heard of it made for a 95-96 headlights.

Hey man i just got the same bumper from JT AutoBody and it dont fit up to my 95 talon lights when they said it would.

your sure the 97,98 dont fit? cause ive gotta rip a new Ahole in these guys today cause my car wont be ready for HIN in Atlantic City now.

do the lights on the inside corners line up and acutally fit in the gap?

If not we both screwed and goin to have to do a little choppin and fiberglassin.

It fits my setup That I have right now.(96) Only I just bought some new 97-99 crome/blue ion headlamps. These headlamps are bad ass and I dont want to get rid of them. The guy that sold the kit to me told me that it was for 97-99s. Im thinking no problem, I wanted the new headlights anyways. when I put the new head lights up to the front bumper they dont even come close to fitting. So, I took off my 96 headlights and they fit the bumper. I have look all over at pics. of the kit on other dsms and thet all have 97-99 headlights. So im thinking that someone had the kit moded to fit 95-96 cars. I cant realy tell I dont know that much about fiberglass. So I guess that I will just try and find some 95-96 eclipse owner that wants a blitz bumper.

(If anyone wants it they can have it for $100 if they can come pick it up. Other wise $200 + shipping. oh ya, its all preped and ready for paint. It has two coats of primer and has been sanded and smothed out.)

why dont we just swap bumpers???

i need a 95/96 and u need a 97/98 where are u from and lets get this done

the 97 fits on mine unless u want to swap me lights!! :) with cash of course i would pay u for them.

I live in Denver. I wish I had known your situation before I ordered a new bumper. AAAAHHHH!!!!!! I have the worst luck. It would have been so much easier to trade w/ u. I think im going to keep the 97-99 lights I ordered, it took forever to find someone that had them in stock. Plus their just to nice. Well if you end up needing to buy a new one or know anyone that does I will sell it to you.

first off, whomever makes a front end for the 2g eclipse, only makes it to fit 97-99 headlights, unless they state other wise,,u will have 2 cut it u fit the 95-96 lights,,THIS IS A KNOWN FACT! NO front end will fit perfect outta the box, modifications have 2 be made, there is no need 2 bash asylumms and other retailers,

hey man, do you work for asylum or what? because the accusations are well founded, asylum has made a bad rep for themselves. ive owned 3 front bumpers, and a side skirt and rear bumper set and all 5 fit perfectly right out of the box. the only problem i have ever had is due to my passenger fender being slightly bent inward so the bumpers always have a gap, but they all fit.

Dont get me wrong I have nothing against any retailers out there. I live in Denver about 10 min. away from asylum motor sports. They dont have it together. It is wall to wall boxes of packages going out and comming in. My personal opinion on the company is that they have good prices but bad customer service. I know it's imposable to know eveything about every car on the market. In short I have had problems w/ them on more than one occasion and I am just venting in a way. Im sorry, but if a company screws me over when I have spent a couple of grand at their store I am going to worn others to be carful not to get screwed.
And yes I know that the kit might not fit perfectly. Shit when it comes to after market parts that is what can be expected. My problem if you can READ is, THEY told me it was for 97-99 and the 97-99 headlight I have dont fit the bumper at all. My 96-97 headlights fit it fine. So, they ether lied to me or didn't know the right info for that bumper???

no i dont work for asylumms or anything,, just saying that its pretty rare to get an aftermarket front piece, side skirt etc.. that fits perfect.. out of all he things i have done to my car, engine wise and exterior,, the ONLY thing that went on without a hitch were my wheels,, headers, front end, cai, bored tb, ud pulley,, all didnt fit right.. basically im just sayin that there is no need to get mad when stuff doesnt fit right,, any time i get something for my ososlow i plan on it not fitting,, and as for asylumms,, im not defending them,, just saying that they are the retailer not the manufacturer,, the blitz front i got off of klipzracer didnt come close 2 fitting my car right,, i never had 2 cut, bend, or bitch at a piece more in my life...theres my 2 cents,,,

Tell me about it. The only thing that I've had no trouble w/ were my rims. Im not trying to rag on asylumms ether. Its just if you are selling a product it is a good idea to know the info for that product your selling. thats all. If you could step in the asylumm shop you would just laugh. It's out of hand. The guys working there dont even know where the parts are in the store. They have to dig through all these boxes just to find anything. but oh well.

Sorry about any confusion. I just wasnt sure about the bumper, Ive never dealt with them before.
