Are there any 2G Talon aftermarket tail lights? Or at least clear taillights?

I wanna use these round led clusters:

I have seen a talon with a 2 piece setup...basically the two altezza'a off an eclipse replaces our tailights but the center piece we cant replace because of where the license plate is at.
I am getting ready to paint my center piece and put altezza'a on so when i get time i will post some pics!

if you're thinking about leaving your talon bumper on and putting the eclipse tailights on that bumper don't even bother. trust me, it'll save you the hassle. there with be at least a 2-3 inch gap...the talon tailights are taller than eclipse ones. you would have a nasty gap under your tailights, and it would show nothing but bare sheet metal. i tried it.

Sorry, there just aren't any.

However, there are some alternatives. You can modify thorugh painting what you currently have, change the rear bumper to something else, rewire and get something aftermarket for an eclipse, or finally, just stay with what you have. I think I'm going to use some of that VHT niteshades stuff on the amber part of the taillights. My friend in Canada did it, and I really think it looks sharp. (especially on my black car)



No wing, thank you very much, but I think painting the amber part will actually draw less attention. :-)

I just wanted to convert my tail lights to use led clusters...and clear tail lens would be the best thing suitable I can use so that the leds can be seen..

My boyfriend told me the other day that he has seen a Talon with clear taillights at a dealership a while back. It was a special edition '95 Tsi AWD. He is pretty sure that they are out there. Maybe they were custom made, like a custom plastic mold or something? I wonder how much that would be???

clearcorners.com does any clear lights, but you'll be without yours for a while. My friend did it with a VW. You send your stock lenses in and they mold them for ya, i think it takes like 2-3 weeks, so you'll be without a car for a while. I guess give it a try if your willing. Good luck.

Go to a junk yard and spring for a set of Talon lights and send THEM instead of your originals. That way you could drive while waiting, and, if you didn't like them, or when you sold your vehicle, you could replace them (and resell your clear lights to a friend and get most of your money back).

If you go to importfan.com they have a how to section that shows how to make clear tailights step by step. I had thought about doing it at one point but I jsut converted to an eclipse rear end. If you do try and make them I would suggest buying a set from a junk yard or I have a spare set for sell. =) anyways of you do get a hold of some post some pics for us to see.

I looked at the Do-It-Yourself thing from importfan.com and to be honest, I wouldn't try it. They suggest to use the plastic panels from those long big office lights, to put it in the over for a while in order to bend it in shape. The whole proccess seems somewhat dangerous to me :) ...

i still say use the stockk piece but light it up ...use a 24" white neon light ...so your talon piece will shine bright yellow
but u cant beat the ass below ..sorry lol just playin

I would like to put an eclipse rear end on my talon. Has anyone done this and how hard was it to do. i really want to put just 2 altezzaa on and paying the centerpiece or somehow mode it so that it still says talon and i like the idea with teh white neon to light up talon. Gimmie some help :-)

No i mean using the eclipse center piece and changing bumpers. Then with the eclipse center piece paint it black to match my car. I would get talon stickers or something so that the word talon doesnt get painted black and would still be red...the plastic. the light would only shine through the word talon cause the paint. prob would have to be thick to block out the light.

How Much would it be worth to u guys if i would make altezza or clear or what ever color taillights u wanted. i think i can do it it would be different and if the price is right ill try a set. Would any one be intrested in them gonna cost alot if i do do them would be cheeper if i made just clears but i think i could make altezza's :) guys let me know ??

you can't mix and match talon and eclipse rear end parts... you have to have all eclipse, or all talon, they don't work with one another. won't even come close to fitting, they are two differant sizes.
