Im thinking about getting this front end for my car. How thick is the fiberglass? is it paper thin or is it pretty think?. I found it on modacar for $285, is this a good price? Also will I have to take out my 5mph bumper?

I have only seen then bumper once, but the fiberglass is pretty thick, about an 1/4 inch???? I was thinking about buying the bumper from someone on this board, but I have to wait to see what my parents say. Good choice though.

Cheaper the price generally thinner the material.

if you buy the fake sinsei it is thin, the OG bumpers from Sinsei Custom Fiberglass are thicker. and yes, you will have to remove your stock bumper, aftermarket bumpers are full replacements, not covers. you will also have to remove your bumpers reinforcement bar (its a brownish yellow thick fiberglass bar behind the stock bumper cover)
