I'm sure that this has been asked before and I apologize for asking it again, but will 95-96 side skirts fit a 97-99 Eclipse. Thanks.

Yeah they will fit just fine. Remember if you have an RS that you will probably want door caps too when you buy the skirts. They dont quit look right in my opinion if you dont have them. They are about $80-125 for a pair.

OK, kewl. I'm on DSM Trader and this guy is willing to sell me his GS-T side skirts for $125, door caps included! I just wasn't sure if they would fit due to the slight body change between the 96 and 97. But I guess I'll go ahead and grab them while I can. Thanks for the help!

I wouldnt..despite what anyone says, they fit bad..You'll have to modify the skirts..I tried to put the 95-96 on my 98 RS..There is a little gap between where the front piece meets the side piece..There is also a little gap in some places between the skirts and the body of the car..they look really ricey..Id stick with the 97-99's...I will try to get some pics of what im talking about posted within a few days..

Yeah I found some 98 GS side skirts. Only problem is no door caps. Do the side skirts from 97-99 look ok with out door caps?

In my opinion they look really bad WITH door caps, dont get them dude, it is muuuuuch cleaner without them. the lines are alot smoother. im trying to get my holes from my door caps filled but its gonna cost a bit. check turbo magazines website for pics of the MITSU MISSLE white eclipse, he has my sideskirts with the door caps and accompanying ridge in the door shaved with the skirts molded in...damn it looks clean plus it leaves this little ridge between the door and the skirt making the skirt stick out a little on this small ledge which looks really good too, kind of like a benz CLK racecars skirts

ok if you do get the 95-96 skirts make sure they arent the ones with the shitty gray plastic on the bottom half. im thinkin about getting the aeroduo skirts and getting the previously mentioned door-line shaved. it would be about the same $ as buying stock w door caps and having them put on.

Cyan are you saying the stock ones look bad with door caps or your skirts? I think yours look bad with skirts but not the stockers. Who knows personal opinion I guess :)

I know people that removed the door caps with factory side skirts. It makes the skirt seem to stick out more and be a bit more flashy, so some people like it better that way...

Hey cyan, I can't seem to find the mitsu missle you were talking about on the turbo mag website. I already ordered both side skirts and door caps off a 98 GST. Oh well. I'll see what I like better. Really seems to boil down to personal taste. I'll let you guys know.
