The silver seems lighter than the rest of the car. They said they warranty their shit so....

Well the door and the rear quarter are off and they should be perfect since they are made out of the same shit.

It looks pretty good, just the front and the hood aren't perfect either.

what did you have done? I would go back and see what they said about it for sure.

Installed a strada f1 front (which doesnt match the hood) and than replace fender and than blend that in with the door (which totally doesnt match the rear quarter)

So now what.

The painter can't paint. Majority of body shop painters cannot blend good enough. Sometimes it is impossible, like the bumper into the hood. To make it perfectly match, you'd have to sand down the bumper and both fenders, and then blend it, and reclear it all. That would cost a lot more though. Good luck.

So what should I do? He has a lifetime gaurantee but I know he will give me some BS and I won't have any argument besides it doesn't quite look perfect. Is there something he did wrong that I could point out?

I highly doubt it will be that simple since it will cost him a couple hundred. Businesses usually don't like giving away money so I'm sure he will say something about how my paint is off or it reflects right or some bullshit.

Sorry to say, but there probably isn't much you can do. I bet they just used the stock paint color, but since your's faded, it doesn't match. A skilled painter can mix in other colors by eye to match your current paint. I think that no matter what, it won't match perfectly. Maybe ask hondahater what he did when his didn't match? Yeah eclipse804 is right. How bad is the match?? Is it always off?

I know for my car in certain light at a certain angle they used way to much purple and it doesn't match AT ALL. But in every other light it is a perfect match. Everyone I talk to (including Maaco) said thats the best they can really do, just give it a year to get some sun fade and it will match 100% of the time.

I guess it really depends on how bad the match truly was for you. I know hondahaters first paint was horrible...maybe they just messed yours up.

silver really doesn't seem to fade that bad. My car is a 99, and I recently, well, a few months ago had the center piece and vtech covers done. WITHOUT the car at the shop. And it looks stock it's such a good match. They'd probably have to really suck at it unless my paint is just some freak thing and doesn't fade. Maybe waxing so often helps? Anyhow, if he is any real businessman, he will redo it and take his losses. We have to take losses owning our own tranny shop, but we guarantee the work no matter what. He should re-do it. If you paid a good deal of $$$, I'd consider legal action. (If he doesn't agree to repaint it)
