I think those wings clash with the car. Our cars are all curvy, and that wing just breaks up the curves. Get the wings west 3 piece. That thing is tight. I also think those aluminum spoilers are just a fad, like the old louble decker "kombat" wings.

i dont likt that wing, but i saw this this wing from an earlier post from an ebay auction for a body kit. this wing is really nice, i wanna know where i can get it, but i think it is custom.

Hey 9D9 I like that wing looks good. I like those wings and its my opinion of course. But its not a fad for me I just like them on our cars.

They sit too high, it's like the car just flows and then the wing juts up out of it, seems unnatural.

yup, that wing looks too awkward. you could do a full body kit, something different but if you stay with a stock body, it'll look bad. but hey, it's your car and your money.

I have blitz type 2 sides. I am gonna probably get either the aerogear or bomex rear too.

I need something that stands out, but looks pretty good tho. Especially for local shows. Every stock eclipse has the 3 piece or turbo wing. I just don't feel like leaving mine, or paying for something I could have had from the start. Just my opinion. I want some kinda aftermarket wing. Anyone got pics of any fiberglass/urethane wings? Aluminum wings too. I don't think huge aluminum wings that stand str8 up look good. I do like the decent ones that have angled stands that kinda lean over the back of the car tho.

in your case, i think an aluminum wing would work but maybe not the one on the picture. i've seen a couple of eclipse with aluminum wings and they look good. especially the one in an issue of import tuner with full blitz kit painted yellow and black.

dont get the wing man there is a 1984 toyota camry in my town that is rusted to crap and it has one of those aluminum spoilers it looks so terrbile. WHY PEOPLE WHY!!

in my opinion our cars look best with either no spoiler or the turbo spoiler.

Every think about getting a 97-99 Talon spoiler?? (boomerang) Now that would be different on an Eclipse....probably look really sweet too. I love my spoiler, it follows the line of the car so good and stuff.

I like the look. I measured the car and all and it will look right in my mind. I am gonna shave the spoiler, and if the wing looks shitty, I'll sell it and get a urethane or fiberglass one like a commando.

We have sports cars so we should have wings , without wings our cars looks gay and naked imo of course.

I ordered it. I am gonna get it on if it looks decent. If not, then I'll sell it and go for something like the commando. I really like this one, but veilside is freakin $$$$! it looks nice! IMO as well, our cars should have some kinda spoiler. Each to their own tho. Even tho we all have eclipses, they are pretty diverse. Without the diversity, it would be boring.

Well, I ordered it, it got here, and I think it's gonna look pretty good. Better than I expected, and better than anyone else expected too. Everyone I had over when I put it to the car said, wow, I'm surprised. If I get it on there, and I hate it, All I gotta do is repaint the hatch and slap on a GTR wing. I have even had people offer to buy it if I ever change my mind.

Wings definitely change the look of a car, specially ours. When I cracked my wing, and I was driving naked for a month...the whole car just looked totally different and weird to me. Go fer it, but be careful...you don't want any air traffic up there...turbulance is a bitch.
