finally got my OBX catback on, the type H with the 4.5in outlet, from the outside it sounds nice deep, friggin sweet, from the inside, sounds fine unless you're almost at idle in 1st and 2nd, sounds like my damn hatch is bustin ass, it's horrible, my girlfriend just kinda laughs at me....that's not right, anyone know if there's a specific part I need to secure, rubber gaskets? dynomat? silicone? I need help!

the only thing you can do...

CHOP OFF YOUR OBX MUFFLER AND SELL IT TO A HONDA OWNER.

thats the only think that will solve your problem (i'm sorry you have had to put up with the embarassment of having an obx(fartcan) muffler.

just sell it and get a different muffler.

not muffler, catback, ask Dino, Mike, Jason, or anyone else, it sounds nice, btw, it's rattling cause the vibrations from the exhaust, the frequency of the rattle, being in the 40Hz range is hard enough to shake a bit

My exhaust rattles almost everything in my car sometimes. It has the deepest tone out of all the cars in my car club. My hatch has never rattled though. You might want to try some dynomat back there and see if that solves the problem. Oh yeah, I have a pacesetter catback with an OBX B5 muffler (which does not suck at all, everyone loves my exhaust, both its looks and sound)

Right on 1TuffRS. I have the same set-up and love it. Even though is sounds ricey when I start driving it after a cold night, it's warms right up and sounds great.
