i dont really know how to describe it, but in the big opening of the front bumper, the plastic piece that is at the top of it(its black on my silver car) is bugging me. it blocks the top part of my FMIC, and i was wondering if anyone had cut theirs out, and it was too hard or not. me=not good at cutting shit. thanks guys.

Um.. I have a buncha pics of Eclipse's who've cut out that ribbed upper part to the front of the front bumper. Yes it actually will help your intercooler catch more air. I have consider this as well once I get a FMIC. The look of the bumper without the ribbed part makes the bumper look as an aftermarket bumper too. I am sure you could cut it out but just be careful. If you really like your bumper might want a body shop to take care of it... ahh maybe not, too much money. GL tell me how it goes and looks afterwards. Jarrad

I like Brians(www.paradoxracing.com) car a lot. He trimmed his front bumper. Looks bad ass, imo. I would definetly do it if I had a FMIC.

back behind the piece it feels like there is a thick piece of hard rubber...is this the actual bumper reinforcement? im guessing you gotta cut through this too. anyways, im gonna give it a try tomorrow.

yes that is the bumper reinforcement, you will have to cut through that too.
