Sides are cake. I quit on the back. It is impossible, you have to mega heat the shit so it shrinks on.

I had my back window done in one piece by an awsome tinter. He's been tinting for like 12+ years, and he says he will never try to do an eclipse back window in one piece again :) Took him a long time, because you have to heat shrink it a lot, because of the large curves the back window has. Getting a one piece back window tinted, will be pricey, but worth the end result IMO. Take it to a pro..

I agree take it to a professional. The previous owner of my eclipse had it done downtown. Im gonna go darker. He had all the papers and stuff for the tint job so I know who to go to. But he got it in one piece and it looks great. Dont try it yourself. Youll spend more redoing it over and over again trying to get it right, than if you just get it done right. Plus if they fuck it up, they have to do it again.

going darker may be a problem. the darker you go, the thicker the tint is, hence it becomes increasingly impossible to got on in one piece. Some tint guy in my area (awesome work) went through 4 pieces before he told me that unless i don't need my car soon that he is going to have to do it in pieces.

my backwindow is the 5%... all done in one piece.. i know a guy out here is so cali that does excellent work and fairly cheap.. it was about 3 years ago when i did, and i think it was 120 for all windows... and since i had a run in the cops, it will only cost me 30 to get the fronts re-tinted.

i agree... the proper way to do it is have someone else do it (a pro). i got mine done last week and he did it in one piece and it looks great imo.
