A dood in a mustang stopped in front of me...then went in reverse cuz he didnt see me and backed rite into my ass doin 20mph. It ripped the paint off the drivers front with his exhuast and ripped a gash into it.

As much as you've been through with that front, this is ALMOST funny.
I assume he's paying to have it fixed? Don't take it back to the shop that originally painted it ok? Man you've had the worst luck.

This is a good thing. He will pay for it. It was his fault. I have a neighbor that walked out and heard him say "My bad man, completely my fault"...shook my hand and drove off after we exchanged info. I called my insurance company, he's got the same company, everythings valid...I'm currently waiting on a call back.

Have his insurance buy you a new bumper and sell the one you have locally and make a couple hundred out of it.

I think you got lucky. Werent you unhappy with the results frm the paint job you just got on the bumper. Now you will either have an new bumper or a freshly painted one for FREE!!!! And make them get you a rental when its in the shop.

Congrats Mike. Hehe sorry, but I think in this case you got lucky. The way the paint came off of that bumper, it probably wasn't properly prepped when the shop painted it the second time anyway. I have never seen paint come off of a bumper in a huge chunk like that. Even when someone backed into me pretty hard back in the day, no paint came off. Just scratches. Take it to a good reputable shop this time and have them buy you a new stillen front and paint. If you have hookups at the shop, you might be able to get a little extra work thrown in for free since they can charge the insurance high rates.

kinda looks like they didn't sand the wax off and then when the urethane flexed the paint just slid off. Shitty work on the bumpah, but hell you'll get a new one. Ever think of how good an opportunity this would beto get a little extra $$$ for the nitrous? Is your neck starting to get a little sore?
