23661, interesting tail lights Posted by 1TuffRS, Jun-05-02 03:47 PM
I saw a guy the other day in an eclipse with an interesting tail light pattern. When he turned only the extreme side of the taillights would light up. Basically his brake lights were seperate from his turn signals. He said he saw an auction for them on E-bay and just bought the bulbs for it at radio shack, but he did a sorry ass job of explaining what they looked like and I was wondering if any of you have done anything like this. TIA

i've read about it being done. basically, people get the actual euro tails, the ones that have amber corners, and use relays to have only that light blink and still have the break lights work the same. just search for it because it has been posted before. later

yeah it was the "german taillight mod"
I think Evan explained how to do this. I was thinking about doing it if I put my gen 3 tezzas back on.
