23077, Bumpers? Posted by eklipz264, May-27-02 09:44 AM
I was just curious.. can I make my own front grill mesh? Also, how do I take off the bumper of my 95 Eclipse GS-T? I haven't really tried to take it off yet but is it easy? I heard some people make their own grill meshes and they look good.. is that easy too? Thanks guys Later

you can use chicken wire to do your own mesh...and for taking off the bumper there is a write up un the mods section in the 2gnt.com page.
You have to take out the 5 bolts in top then 2 (each side), in the edge of the bumper (back edge) then the hard to get ones, below the headlights(Remove headlights. 2 bolts in the back and one on top of each headlight) and then wiggle it. and look for extra bolts.

Hey Bro... You might wanna also check Kaptain_Mike's and "dsmprobe's" sites. They have some good, detailed instructions too on "How to remove the Bumper" and "...Do the Mesh Grill"
BTW...I not sure the one at the mods section is working... I tried out last week and the link wasn't working ( you might wanna check though in case it got fixed. )
Here are those links (I just hope Kaptain Mike and "dsmprobe" don't mind :wary) :

"dsmprobe's" - (7th Topic down is the Mesh Grill Installation...)

Good Luck !
