Any upholestry shop should be able to do it for you. Satan might even sell'em.

Is the original piece of headliner usable?

If it is..then start over and get some 3M adhesive trim spray. {(black top) on spray can.} Spray it entirely with that goop and let it set in for 2 min. Now, get any type of fabric or bedsheets and smooth it on, starting from inwards to outwards. Good luck.

no i think i killed it. there were like 4 layers and i think i took too much off when i took the old carpet off. cause now its really flimsy and wonld hold straight. vinyls just too damn hard to work with imo.

Try a junkyard I guess, but that sucks. I'm confused about the "layers" part though...my headliner (which I assume is like 110% of everyone else) has two layers...a base one then with the felt type carpet like layer glued over that. Just spray the adhesive over that "messed up" layer and you wont even see that when you spread your fabric over it. Heck, try sanding down or roughing up the vinyl stuff even. Try to salvage it if you can I guess.

i have a vinyl headliner, its got a few inperfections on the edges but its okay though, i had it done professionally (only like 20 dollars), but they use a vinyl that has little holes in it, kinda like katzkin leather or the leather in some porshe's and prolly other cars.
