Try rubbing toothpaste on them, then clean the toothpaste off after about 5 minutes.

Agreed. The toothpaste thing works rather well and not too gritty so should f' up the headlight.

I would not wet sand the head lights. Just polish it. If you sand, you may end up putting permanent scratches on it.

my friend's 95-96 was the same. She came over and I gave her my old altezzas and cleaned her headlights. Toothpaste really worked. Rub it on, let it sit for a few, rub it around with a cloth, then rinse the cloth, soak it, and rub the fire out of the headlight, then do the same again for the other one. Get the hose and spray the excess paste off, and they'll be a lot better.

i also did heard to wet sand them, well i took a 2000 grit sanding paper (yep even smoother then my butt) and i did a test and right in the corner, when you can almost see, well if they were clouded, NOW THEY ARE MORE, i don't know if there is finner grit sandpaper, but it doesnt work, i also tryied the thootpaste, i just applied scrub it with a old t_shirt for about 3 mins and clean it, it was a better result...
