heres the rims on my car:



my car is white and im thinking white rims would look better. what type of paint would i need? also do rims generally look like crap after a while if you paint em? ive been using them for about 6 months so I have a feeling grease and road dirt would make it hard to paint anyway. just looking for advice, I may just have to buy some new rims.

I would powdercoat them white. Don't paint your nice aftermarket rims because the paint will chip eventually. Do it right and get it powdercoated.

I would have to agree with the statement above, if you are gonna do it do it right and powdercoat them, it lasts much longer and doesnt chip. Mine are powdercoated and i haven't had any problems with them! :)

How would I look with my rims in Gunmetal or Black?

Hey Fusion, to be honest, I would keep your's silver, and maybe gunmetal if you were going for that JDM look. I would definitely not do black on a black car because it will just look like you're rolling on hubs from far away.

Yeah, Fusion keep them silver. I think that black wheels in general look like hubs. Just my .02 though.

powdercoated huh. im guessing thats a professional job? who would do that just any auto paint place?

I think Gunmetal would look awesome on your car Fusion.

I wanta get my 7 spoke 16's powdercoated gunmetal and leave the lip silver...I drool just thinking about it.
