WOO HOOO! it worked! so much for autometer's shitty plan to make us DSM'ers send in our tachs for "calaboration". worked like a charm the first time. AND it looks awesome. the rpm was off about 25 rpm's, but what the hell is 25 when you're winding out at 7,000?? i am so excited, i even got the blue condom bulb covers, and it matches my indiglos perfectly. today is my day. i am so happy!

Did you take the rpm signal from the pcm and did you have to do any additional modifications/special wiring.

nothing out of the ordinary...just hooked up switched power, illumination, ground, and then the tach signal to the wire wire with pink blocks coming out of the ecu...worked like a charm

and sounds like this would be perfect for BASE Model Eclipses w/out Tachs. Base Talons have Tachs, A/C and RR Def.

wait a minute, skilla...are you serious, or just joking?? base model eclipses don't have tachs?? shit, my talon is about as base as they come (i don't even have a trunk popper thingy) but i have a factory tach.
