Well I've seen plenty of people finish their HVAC conversion and ask the question: "How do I do the AC button?"

Well heres a quick howto.. I'm assuming that youve already removed the AC button, if not, you can see my howto here: http://sabrelink.com/probe/hvac/

OK, on the sides of the sleeve, there are two tabs, push them in and pull the button itself from the sleeve.

Now, you'll need the Blue LED, and the resistor (see above link for info). You need to remove the stock bulb (twist and pull). Then lift the circuit board out of the casing (pay attention to how it all goes)

Now insert your LED to the anode and cathode stick out where the existing bulb was (facing to the top of the button. If you lay the button so that the part you push is to your right you will see two spots on the circuit board, one to your right and to your left of where the bulb was. The left most is ground and the right most is power.

To start carefully clip the cathode of the LED so that it touches the gruond and solder it on. Be sure not to make any bridges to the other leads on the board. Now, shorten the leads on your resistor and solder one end to the positive (right) terminal (again be sure not to bridge) and the carefully bend the resistor flat onto the board and solder the other end to the anode. Be sure that all your connections are as close to the board as possible as you will need to be sure the clip that locks the sleeve in can depress far enough without pushing any of your leads into each other or other connections on the board.

Pop the circuit board back into the housing make sure the button works (you will have to hold the spring in the back) and then reinsert the button into the sleeve. Be sure everything clears and that the tab will function properly. Stick it back in the car, plug it in, and your ready to go!

Ok Guys... I AM LOST !
I am currently doing this project and so far I've soldered up the LED's to the AC button, Defroster button and the Rear wiper button but now I am stuck on how to get the lights within the 'Heater', the 'Directional air' and the 'Low to High' switch knobs... How the hell does that whole piece come out ? Like the one at http://sabrelink.com/probe/hvac/

Pull out the A/C button. Right below it is a light bulb. It's hard to get out, but use needle nose pliars and twist it and pull out. Replace it with an LED.

So wait a minute... Basicaly I am done ? Once I replaced the bulb within the AC Button (which I already did) the intensity of the LED will reflect the blue out on the other 3 switches ? All I have to do is hook up the cables again and that's it ?
Or did I miss something again ?

How many stock light bulbs are to be replaced with LED's in TOTAL within the center console ? (Not counting the Defroster & Rear Wiper...)

The Ac button is independent of the HVAC lighting.. Remove the AC button, and feel underneath where it was and you will find two wires running into a small bulb.. you must rotate and remove this bulb, its orange and lights up the hvac.. wire an led into that and glue/tape it into the hole.. i have the writeup to do that on my page (you listed it above) and hondahater has one on his page as well (which is linked off of mine)

Damn it was tought to first: Find the godamn bulb !
And second: remove it !

But I got it now !!! I've been following your website (and HondaHater's website) all morning... Believe it or not I did about 80% of all the procedures in your site but I just couldn't figure out that particular bulb with the 2 red wires. It was in such a tight spot that not even with HondaHater's detailed pic of where the bulb was supposed to be it was just... Argggh! hard to find for me !
