Ok, I got a volt gauge now, and do I wana put it directly to the batery, or hook it up to my radio or sumthin, the only reason I ask is because I want a acurate reading

any switched (when the cars on) voltage line will be fine for your reading.

Yep, any place is ok for a good reading, but if you want ultra accuracy, go to the battery. By doing it that way instead of the other, the gauge might be off by one or two tenths of a volt..not that much to worry about anyway..I personally would go to the battery, its the best place for the most accurate reading, but a few tenths of a volt really isn't much to go through the extra work of running the wires. Its up to you really..

Also if you want an accurate reading do not get an autometer gauge. Go with a digital gauge or something like intellitronix.

Just do what I did. Hook it up to your Cigarette Lighter (Power Line).

Works fine for me.
