21662, Fiberglass front

well it happened and it sucks. My fiberglass buddy club front cracked. Hasn't even been a month yet and I hit the curb and it cracked. How much am I looking to spend to get this fixed? What does it involve and what can I do myself to ease the price? If it's more than 200, I might as well get a new bumper. Will they patch it up with more fiberglass or can I do that myself and just have them paint that area or do they need to paint the whole bumper?

They can patch it with fiberglass and repaint it for around $150 prolly.

Next time get a urethane bumper ;-)

Thats why you don't go cheap and buy poly urathane the first time around. I also learned that the hard way also. Buy the time you repair that fiberglass you could of got the poly urathane kit for the same price and those take a pretty good beating. If I ever go back to a body kit I will get poly urathane.

See that's why I love this messageboard. Thanks fellas, I was considering the polyeuro, but we'll see how this goes first. I was trying to show off by pulling into a driveway and I thought I had proper clearance. WRONG!

maybe so, but than again maybe not. eff urethane. besides if your into modding your car you should be fully aware of and exercise caution and not hit stuff in the road. besides if you want a urethane bumper youll have to settle for the less-than-attractive blitz or stillen, hahaha!

buddy club is glass only. i cracked my first fiberglass bumper, once, got it fixed for $150, havent cracked a glass front in 3 years since that day and im 2 inches lower now than i was then.
