21528, foglight removal on 98 eclipse gs

this is a dumb question but i need to change the bulbs on the left side foglight. i removed the plastic and pretty much everything but there are these two small screws that are the last step in opening the casing where the bulb is. I can't get to it. do i need to remove the whole bumper to just remove a bulb?

Have you been able to pop the entire fog light assembly out yet? or it is still secured to the car? For the drivers side anyway, there is one big screw on the top right corner of the bracket. Once you undo that screw, the fog light is still attached to the bracket via two horizontal dowel pins. You have to move the fog light itself to the right to pop the fog light out of the bracket. Once this is down, the fog light can be pulled out of the "hole" just enought for you to get to the electrical connector clip. Once you release this clip, the fog light can be taken out.
On the underside of the foglight, there are 3 small screws holding the protective casing to the fog light. Be careful not to strip the heads of these 3 screws. Also be carefull with that one big screw on the top right corner of the bracket. It strips real easy too.

yeah i got to the last part where the three screws on the bottom are left but it is really hard to get at it. i think there is a screw at the sides of the foglights so i can't get at the last three screws unless i remove the damn bumper.
