how much would it cost to take out my moonroof and replace it with a regular hard top??? i'm guessing it to be a lot but i just wanted to find out

way too much IMO. if your talking welding sheetmetal in its place, making it smooth and flush, prep and paint, new headliner... not to mention that you will be without the use of your car for a looooong time.

you don't want our sunroof...it is crap, mine is jammed open right now and it has rained every day for the past week, and my garage is filled w/junk! So the car is outside. It probobly wouldn't be that hard to shave the sunroof, my friend and I just shaved his tailights and that took about 3 days, and it turned out pretty clean, but isn't our roof made of fiberglass, if so that would be even easier.

Well it definately can be done. Not real cheap though. Unbolt the sunroof assembly, new headliner, weld in sheetmetal in opening, bondo and fill to smoothe, and repaint the whole roof. I'd guess around 1000 dollars or so..pretty big price for gettin rid of the sunroof..
