ummmm, not to put your hopes down.....but unless your willing to spend a grip of money on lambo doors, dont bother looking. Just makes u want something you cant have lol. I remember before someone said it costs around 1k-2k to do it. Better off spent on a turbo.

I already have almost 2-3k (retail) in body mods that I did myself and am about to add another 5k (retail) to that after body kit, tail light swap, and paint maybe even more if I do some other "small" things. I own a shop and do all the work my self so I am consediring on doing these next over this coming winter so if anybody can help please do so. I have already thought up a few ideas with my business partner however would like any info possible.

alright dood, heres the deal, go buy some vector or lambo door hinges, which will run you a couple of k, but since money isnt an issue you wont care. as far as getting pics, why not do the search feature? it works on this web page and on the internet

Hey when you figure out how to do it let me know Becuase I'm gettin a GSX next year and really want to have it done. $ is no object. well it is but let me know anyway.
Also you might want to check some of the kit car companys that have the lambo kits. You might be able to get the door stuff from them pretty cheap.

you realize your doors wont seal very well? you dont care about that? road noise, water, wind, and why do a mod thats been done, be original, do suicide lambo doors, that would be pimp, matter of fact, i am copy writing that, :7

Well I've talked to the guy that owns that car with the lambo doors and saw exactly how those doors are done. There are hydraulic cylinders that that pop the door out about 2 inches from the body of the car. Then another hydraulic cylinder pushes the door up. If you look closely you can see that the bottom of the door was cut then molded into the body. You really have to see it in person to understand. He told me it cost about 11 g's to do it and the doors still don't seal up right. The car is phat as hell though. Last time I saw it the guy had put a hahn stage one on there. Oh, and the rear end is a combat rear.

I never said money is not an issue if it wasn't I would pay to have it done. Second I have already thought about the suicide lambo doors not sure if I like it. I know it has been done so what how many mods on your car be done befor? then why did you do it? Lambo doors are far from common place so it will be diffrent. I have seen that car in person last year at carlisle (I will not be going this year :( ) and it looked bad as all hell. Sorry to come of like a dick again and thanks for the pics and info.
ohh yeah I tried searching for like 2 hours last night before I posted this for your info.

i can see where nat's coming from. sometimes people do get a bit off-topic and don't address the issue at hand, but i don't think we should get heated over it. it's all in good fun. opinions are cool and appreciated, but when it comes down to it, we are all looking for answers to our questions.

off subject but you need to update your signature...youve spent "1-2K in body mods" but your sig just shows a regular 1999 black sports-package eclipse.

no it doesnt, first off, the sports edition had a turbo spoiler, he has a custom molded 1 piece, also he has his door handles shaved

|
21324, RE: lambo doors Posted by dougie2, May-03-02 08:11 AM
And he shaved the rain rails, antenna, and rear wiper. I'd say all that's about 1-2k $
