21207, Help with trunk gas shocks Posted by HondaHater21, Apr-30-02 03:26 PM
Ok, I know im lazy, but Im now making my trunk auto matic, the plan now is not electic power but AIR POWER! Im gana have my hatch, amp rack, and LCD all move with air! Its kinda complicatd with all the regulators and valves, but its possible and easeier on the wallet. N E way, is there any way to drain the trunk gas struts of there gas charge? I need to use these to maintain the movment. I think all you need to do is put a small hole in it to leak? I know its under presure, but Ive had holes in propane tanks, WD-40, and squese chezz with no explosions. Do you think it can be done? I have my father seeing if he can have a "guy" do it or steal some stuff for me, but it will be cool just like having air bags for ur trunk!
