21096, For those of you with fogged over headlights(how to fix them)

I was getting really frustrated with the way my headlights were fogged over i tried everything to clear them up. One night I was talking to this guy(one that gives you tips all the time but you know you wouldn't due, probably screw something up)he told me to use toothpaste like a polish. Well I was desperate and tried it. What do you know there as clear as the day they rolled of the line. Just thought that this might be of use to someone.

My headlights have been fogged up forever and a day now. This is going to be my weekend project since I have saturday off. Damn 12 hour work shifts. Kory if your RS is still for sale, I might have the money soon. =)

Outside of lens, you could probably do it to the inside too but I spent 5 hours trying to get to the inside without luck. So if you can get the light apart do both.

toothpaste werx with heat stains on wood too ;-)

also, it fills in scrathes on CDs ;-) (like highlighter)

the reason it werx for the headlight is it has sum type of abrasive in it that scratches off the crap on your teef(in this case, da headlight)..

nice
