I want to paint the plastic piece that goes around the air vents in the center console. I got the vents out, how do i take the plastic piece out?

wow, honestly i dont know how in the world you got the vents out before the plastic bezel, but to do it just pull on it and then pop off the clips that hold in to the vents, then unplug the wiring harnesses.

^^^ what he said. However pick up a Chiltons. They are great and will help you do much more than just this job.
