who else, other than kory, has changed their front and rear bumpers and side skirts?

i have technically, but not with all stock parts. 97-99 front and rear lights though

yeah, i'm in cyan's boat. changed the headlights to fit the bumper i got. and with the new rear bumper i got the reverse lights had to be swapped out.

same here I converted from 96 to 97+ but not with stock parts, but not only did I convert from years I also went from talon to eclipse.

i did the front end, the skirts will hopefully go on this weekend, and the rear bumper.. not sure if i will do it, but i cant imagine it being that hard.

with stock 97+lights and 97 + front can you just bolt on the whole front or do you need a newer rad support

okay, sorry... let me clarify. has anyone converted from the stock 95-96 body to the stock 97-99 body, completely (front/rear/sides)?

it was a direct bolt-on.. used the same bolts and everything..

I changed the front & rear bumpers, but I left the stock '95 side skirts.

I haven't done to the conversion to my car, but we did do a friend of mine's 95 GS-T. We swapped the front, rear, and sides with no problem. Everything bolts right up effortlessly, but you will need 97-99 factory or projector headlights. The 95-96 has a different headlight so when you put the 97-99 front bumper on, it won't fit right around the headlights. Don't get me wrong, it will fit, but you'll have a nasty gap in between the lights and the bumper if you don't swap them too.

P.S: Make sure to keep your all your bolts cause you'll need every one of them!

i've done the swap from 96 talon to 96 eclipse. then 96 eclipse to 99 eclipse. then 99 eclipse to partial shogun kit. now i'm about done going from shogun kit to full sinsei kit. i've done it all... what would you like to know?

uhh.. i think you are confused.. there will be overlap if you dont used 97-99 headlights w/ 97-99 bumper.. they are shorter than the 95s.

didn't have any specific questions... just wanted to see who's done it.

I just took off my 95-96 sides and put on the 97-99 ones.

they look so much better, imo

I think that we all have a PLO (parts left over) pile... :-D By the way, I think that Kory has done the swap, but he has had a lot of sheit going on and I am not sure that he has seen this thread.

yeah, he has. but if you look at the original post, i said anyone other than kory, because he was the only one that i knew of that had done the entire conversion. thanks though.

go for it bro... you're 2/3 of the way there. my car's going under the knife in early-june. full 1998 body conversion, wings west 3-piece spoiler, and full paint job. most likely same color with pearl added in. maybe some shaving done (e.g. antenna and door handles, depending on price).

Whoops, sorry about that... I guess I was just blind for a minute there. Ah well, maybe that is why some people try that activity, um, yeah. Sleeping, I think they call it... :-P
