20411, Projector headlights (Can I get a reply ASAP pls, important) Posted by rst2be, Apr-21-02 04:22 AM
I own a 96 rs and was wondering if anyone else has a problem with the headlights fogging up and turning a yellowish color? (It's my driver side) Also, I tried searching but couldnt' find any info on putting 97-99 projectors on a 95-96 eclipse? Will this work? If not, where can I find black housing projectors for my car? And one final note, has anyone heard of the company "procarparts.com"? They are selling everything like half price what most other sites sell their items. Just wondering if this company is legit. Thanks a lot.

The projectors technically should fit on a 95-96.. The diference between 95-96 and 97-99 headlights (aside from visual) is that the 95-96 are slightly longer then the 97-99. So technically you should be able to fit projectors on your car, but there will be more of a gap on the sides of the light.. Also procarparts.com is a pretty decent company.. I've dealt with them before and I know a bunch of others on here have as well.

i have a 96, talon that is, and i dont have any problems with my headlights. dont know how much different than an eclipse they are. i am pretty sure you can put 97-99 headlights on there, search old posts again, i know for a fact its been said. i think that all mits. headlights are the same, but could be wrong, i have a talon. i know the talon 97 lights are diff from the 96. as far as procarparts.com goes, i have never ordered anything from there but i have seen numerous peeps directing people to there so i would say they are legit. and i know some people on this board have had problems with their projectors fogging up and stuff too. i hoped that helped ya a little. if you need an answer quick, just keep searching old posts while you are waiting for someone a little more knowledgable than me to reply. peace
