Hey wassup EclipseGirl,

I've been looking for pics on the widebodies and I can't find any either. There are two widebodies though. One is the Kaminari which is probably the one you want for your car (it's only for 95-96) and there is the Quwhees and this kit is pretty elaborate and it's $2k but it's 23 pieces and that is for 97-99. I found a GS-T that has the front end from the kaminari. Go to www.onlineshowoff.com and under the mitus, look for a guy named Girth he's got that front end. I saw your profile and I wanted to ask if you are spanish? with a screen name like that!!! I'm spanish myself. Anyways good talking to a 2gnt girl that also lives in the North Florida (I live in Jacksonville) area....Good luck with that kit, if you are interested in it I know some people at Aerotrends here in Jax. Later.

the Kaminari kit is the best, but still requires ALOT of work to get it to look great.. theres a guy on dsmtalk with one done up perfectly, he is sponsored by alot, and i believe one of them is Kaminari? not sure but his isnt a sypder and looks super sharp..

All I can say is go check lotalons car out..its a beast and will be awesome when done for sure! I am in the decision on wich one to go with yet..kaminari or Quewhee...hard to decide!!

I got a friend who just purchased the Quewhees kit and it's bad. The only prob I have with it is that is no complete parts. You have to have front and rear bumpers from a 97-99 Eclipse because there is no front or rear, you must mold the pieces to them. At least the kaminari kit has whole body parts. I've seen a few eclipses with the kaminari fenders on with a regular front and rear and it looked bad as hell. Just my opinion though.

BTW: Eclipsegirl, nice pics!

how do you pronounce that? I just call it the "Q" kit. ALso, I am confused....how many pieces does this thing have? I thought 11, then i have read 10 now i read 23? Is there more than one kind? the only one i really seen was the one off eclipseclub.com.

Hey JohannS07 no offense to you or your buddy at aerotrends but I don't really like that shop. I use to live in Jacksonville (went to UNF) and did alot of business with Justin from aerotrends. He was bad about promising parts on a certain day and then they wouldn't show up, took a couple months a few times to get shit and he kept telling me tomorrow, tomorrow. I can't stand people who promise something then don't hold up to it. What put me over the top was the body kit he sold me, he sold me that blitz bumper I have, it looked good when it was in his shop, I looked it over really hard and everything looked good to me (then again I am a mechanic, I can fix anything wrong with an engine but when it comes to body work I don't know shit) took the bumper to the body shop and they said it was a peice of shit, had alot of shit wrong with it. The body shop never got it to look good, the fiberglass was wavy and didn't fit on the car worth shit. I know its partly my fault but he should sell better product than that.

UPDATE:
So I got a price quote on the Kamanari kit. $2500 for the whole thing, including the wing. They said shipping would be an extra 150 bucks or so...I know the guy, so from what I've been told, that's about as cheap as I should be able to find it...Anybody know anywhere it's cheaper??? Most places I look at are charging about that price and not including the wing...

i loved that white WB eclipse until you posted that pic myke. ive never seen in anywhere but from the rear (the way i likes to see shit from). whats up with that front bumper? i wouldnt call it "done rite" anymore...he molds custom panels to the doors and doesnt shave the handles? and he paid all that money for a widebody kit and put 18's under it. dayum

nice color, nice rear end and nice fenders though
20393, RE: Eclipse Wide Body Kit...

(Statement of Personal Opinion...not flaming and nor do i expect any back) but....

since when have 19's and shaved door handles become a must for a car? when you reach a certain point in your body modifications do these become pre-requisites before you're able to move on? nothing is a precursor when dealing with exterior modifications. having one thing done to the body doesn't qualify an assumption that something else is done as well. it's not like the intercooler-turbo relationship. when you see an intercooler it better damn well have some forced induction (though i have seen a car that refuted this theory at HIN last year in Washington, amusing to say the least :P)

i will agree with the front bumper being a lil off. i don't know how i feel about that custom badge (on the rear as well), and the Blitz bumper has become the most commercialized thing ever recently. but to each their own and as always we should keep in mind that we don't know when someone does something to their car. for all we know he's had that bumper for years before most others. we can't be swapping $#!% like Cyan and others to keep ahead of the game like they do :P though it would definitely be nice to. (job would help that situation :P)

and goddamn!!! that wing is quite possibly the most god awful thing i've ever seen. that thing has it's own zip code. not to mention it's own suburbs in the form of those two little "ears" or whatever protruding even further off either side. man, that is just plain ugly.

i agree with the interior, it looks damn cheap. must of ran out of money from all the other stuff and had to penny pinch when they got to that part of the car. door jams look like crap as well. again i'm biased because i don't like the "mass contrast" that everyone seems to go for when painting their interior. i'm all about the clean look. sure you can paint interior pieces, but you want to keep it looking like it could of came from the factory as much as possible. if you get what i mean...careful selection of colors and specific and modest choosing of not only what parts to paint, but how many to do as well.

i'm undecided on the taillights as well...it is unique though. just don't how much i like it. love the headlights though. i've always liked that conversion. looks real clean on our cars i think. meshes very well. and the paint and fenders look real good. the car should have a lil pep in it's step as well from the engine mods listed.

well that's about it for me, sorry about the rant. i sit in a computer lab and waste an hour between classes at school so this is the result :P oh, btw Cyan...he does list that he has Blitz Technospeed 19's but they obviously aren't pictured. and for everyone to lazy to look up the properties of the pic....we are checking the car out at http://www.teamkoncept.com/members/member_template.php?who=steve

Hey man! I think your talking about my car. I was in HIN last year in seattle, washington. I have the star intercooler but no piping connected to it cuz' I took out my turbo. I crack my downpipe that's why I took out my turbo. I had my blitz body kit for almost a year now and my paint is peeling out.

yeah, see as far as i am concerned that was just my opinion too though. cause the way i see it, if you add wider flares to your fenders with teh same size wheel, its actually makin the car look worse. and it makes door handles more noticeable. i just dont get spending that much cash $5000 at least on all that shit and then skimping on $300-500 for shaved handles. about shaved handles being MORE convenient in an emergency? come on, its much easier to press a button and have your door pop open in an emergency that to open it yourself when running from would-be car thieves or freaky, car-lovin hoes

I must get that kaminari kit. Although I don't care for the front end it kind of looks like a remolded RS front with a smile :) kinda gay, imo, any suggestions on front ends that would look good with this kit?
