im finally taking off my ugly ass racing stripe but its being a bitch. A few sections peeled off nicely and others are just not working out to well. I bought a can of 3m adhesive remover but im real scared to use it cause it has all warnings about taking paint off and dulling it. anyone have any sug. as to what i can do to peel this thing off.

P.S after 8 months underneath there is no paint or sundamage under the stripe woo hoo

Use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm up and loosen the adhesive.... theres stuff called goo-gone or something like that... smells like oranges... that stuff is pretty tame and shouldnt hurt the paint... plus that stuff takes off tar & grease....
