192, Valve Covers?

I may be asking a very simple question, but when putting on a new valve cover do you have to use a tourque wrench? Is there anything I should look out for or it an overlay? Where could I get a chrome or very nice cover from?

Any help is appreciated...

You can use a torque wrench but if you feel like you are crushing the gasket stop tightening even if you haven't hit the torque setting. You don't want to crush the gasket. I normally put then on with a normal wrench and just do it by feel.

Matrix has life time warranty triple chrome plated valve covers for our cars. They are about $240 from Summitt Racing. But there is a killer backorder. I finally cancelled my order. It was supposed to take 2 weeks, I waited like 6-8 weeks and alled to find that they still couldn't get them.
